Have you ever wanted a pet but for some reason couldn't have one?
Maybe your apartment doesn't allow animals or maybe you have a family member who's allergic, but whatever the reason, you simply can't have a pet of your own.
Or maybe you already have one too many at home.
KARE gives you the chance to become a godparent to an animal in need via passive adoption.
The highlight of our shelter, is without a doubt, our permanent residents. There are people who have sworn that every time you spend time with them and walk out, it feels like they have completed a session of therapy. The animals at KARE have fought their own battles, and emerged as true heroes who take it as their duty to spread love among visitors.
They are heroes who don't wear capes.
Passive adoption gives you the opportunity to sponsor one of our permanent resident animals at KARE, for just Rs. 1000 a month. With this small contribution, you would be providing food, medicine and other necessities for animals that need to remain at the shelter due to pre-existing circumstances. In return, the shelter will keep you updated on your pet by sending you pictures and news, and you can even come and visit them whenever you're in the area.
Please remember, KARE constantly gets new animals, so we'll try to keep this deck as updated as possible.

The gorgeous oreo... She came in as an abandoned pup. Being of a very naughty nature, she used to try getting into houses and people around tried to stone her. She ended up as a permanent resident of K.A.R.E. and continues her mischief here.

She came to us for her vulvur tumor treatment and stayed with us for 3 months being an abandoned dog we couldn't release her back like other dogs after her recovery.
She's a wonderfull female lab who loves being with humans and other community dogs too.

Ganya was 3 month old who was got to us by a boy named Shubhi Hassani. Ganya met with an accident which made him permanent paralyzed. He is an attention seeker and wants every visitors to be seated near him rubbing his belly and back.

He walks on three legs as in an accident he got his hind leg badly and permanently injured.

Stella is well behaved dog since she's being with us. She was dumped at a isolated area by her owner. She was seen by a passer by and reported to us about the incident. She's deaf and couldn't hear completely which makes her happy dog of our center as she's never bothered by us and other dogs around.

An old man who feeds strays got him to us after his accident. His spinal injury was serious which made him permanently paralyzed.
He takes his time to trust people and is also choosy about his dog companions. However, he pours his love on those he considers worthy of his trust. His narrow- eyed looks and tail wags can make you fall helplessly in love with him.

He is the darling of KARE and almost everyone who visits us knows him. He welcomes strangers by walking and jumping towards them extending his sole foreleg in greeting towards the approaching human. He then nuzzles his head on the human until both, human and dog loose themselves to a moment of uninterrupted love. He is a total sweetheart who demands attention and pets from all the volunteers. He nibbles at your pants if you don't pay attention and makes sure of winning a place in your heart.

Bachan was covered with full of skin infection. With a dedicated treatment he got his fur Again and he is become the boss of K.A.R.E as other dogs keeps seated when he out on his round.
